Belconnen, ACT, Dec. 23 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:

A44-year-old Moncrieff woman will face court today after allegedly biting an ACT Policing officer during an arrest yesterday.

About8:30amyesterday morning (Monday, 22 December 2025), police were called toa residence in Moncrieff followingareport of adisturbance between the 44-year-old woman and her partner.

Police spoke to the woman and her partner, with both enteringa written agreement to keep the Kings Peace for 24 hours.

About 11am the same morning, policereattended the same Moncrieff property followingareport the woman was againallegedlyacting aggressively.

Officersestablishedthat a breach ofthepeace had occurred and placed the woman under arrest.

During thearrest, the woman became aggressive andallegedly bit one of thearrestingofficers on the leg.

The 44-year-old womanwill face the ACT Magistrates Court today (23 December 2025) charged withassault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of resist territory public official.
