Belconnen, ACT, Feb. 9 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A38-year-oldBraddonwoman will face court after allegedly being caught drug drivingwhiledisqualified and with drugs in the vehicle.
InDecember (2025), policeconducted a search of the woman's car inGreenwayafter it wassuspectedto havebeen involved in drug trafficking.
A search of the vehicle revealed several bagsof a white crystalline substancewhich were seized for further forensic testing.
Following the outcome of forensic testing,police stopped anothervehicledriven by the woman on Parkes Way on Saturday evening.
Officersconducted a search of the vehicle andlocatedmultiple bags of a white crystalline substance, suspected of being methylamphetamine.
The woman, who was subject to parole conditions and whose NSWlicencewasdisqualified,was charged withoffences includingdrug trafficking, driving with a prescribed drug in oral fluid,andpossessinga drug of dependence.
She is due to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 9 February 2026).
