Australia, Nov. 30 -- Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal issued text of the following judgement on Nov. 27:
1. Southern Grampians Shire Council (Council) issued Rates and Valuation Notices on 15 September 2023. Kathryn Pomeroy (Applicant) lodged an objection to the notice on 25 October 2023 on the grounds that the valuations were too high. The Applicant objected to all three values, SV, CIV and NAV. The valuations on the Rates and Valuation Notices are as follows:

2. Valuer-General Victoria (Valuation Authority) as the Valuation Authority issued a Disallowance Notice by the valuer, Julian Wilson on 17 January 2024.

3. The Applicant submitted an application to review the decision of the valuation of land on 23 January 2024 on the ground that the valuations are too high. The Applicant contends that the valuations should be as follows:

4. The Tribunal issued orders on 8 May 2024 and 31 July 2024 listing the matter for hearing on 13 August 2024 with an accompanied site inspection on 12 August 2024. The Tribunal's orders dated 8 May 2024 provided a procedural timetable for the filing and serving of expert reports or Statement of Contentions for Hearing, a Joint Key Issues Statement by the parties, Submissions and a Tribunal Book.
5. The Applicant filed a Statement of Contentions for Hearing on 21 June 2024. The valuations contended by the Applicant are as follows:[3]
