BRISBANE, Queensland, Jan. 15 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify two people that may be able to assist with their investigations into a serious assault in Herston last year November 2, 2024.

Around 10.20pm there was a disturbance at a Herston Road address where two security guards were allegedly assaulted.

The security guards sustained facial injuries and chipped teeth. Both were treated on scene.

Police are seeking to speak to a man believed to be in his 30's, dark hair with a beard who was wearing a white and black patterned shirt, black pants and a black backpack and a woman believed to be in her 30's, with dark hair wearing a red dress with white sneakers.

Anyone who recognises the man or woman, or has any information that can assist in investigations, is urged to contact police.
