Belconnen, ACT, Oct. 12 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing Detectives from the Major Crime Squad executed a search warrant on Friday (10 October 2025) at a residence in Symonston as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking offences.
During the search, officers seized large quantities of illicit and controlled drugs and $8,650 in cash.
The investigation relates to the supply of illicit prescription drugs within the Canberra region. Police are urging anyone with information about the distribution or sale of these substances to come forward.
The seized drugs are believed to have been sourced from overseas, with their quality and contents unknown. Police remind the public that consuming such substances carries significant health risks.
