* Northshore Hamilton riverfronttransformation to delivernearly 2,200homes in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. * Leading Queensland buildersGRAYA,Joe Adsett Developments,Greyburn,Lancini,andRed &Co willdeliverresidential andmixed-useprecinctsacross five sites, including 21,600m2 ofnewretail and commercialjob-creatingdevelopment. * The announcement follows the CrisafulliGovernment's ongoing investment in Northshore Hamilton, including $154 million innew roads,sewer and water infrastructure,and the removal ofLabor'sred tape. * TheCrisafulli Government is delivering a place to call home for more Queenslanders and building Queensland's future after a decade of decline under Labor.

Brisbane's riverfront is set for its biggest transformation in decades, withthe Crisafulli Government unlockingnearly 2,200homes at Northshore Hamilton ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Five leading Queenslandbuilderswill deliver new residential and mixed-use precincts across five sites,including21,600 square metres ofshops,diningandservicesas well asfreeand open community spaceon previouslyfenced off industrial land.

The five developments will span 6.1 hectares within the Northshore Hamilton PDA, delivering a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes as well as anewhotel,brought to lifeby some of the nation's most renownedbuilders:

* GRAYA-a mixed-use developmentcomprisingapproximately 435 homes, a 50-bed hotel and retail and commercial spaces. * JoeAdsett Developments-approximately 430 homes through a staged two-tower development, alongside retail space and a range of commercial tenancies. * Lancini-a new community heart for Northshore Hamilton, with a 15,000-square-metre shopping and commercial hub featuring a full-line supermarket, alongside potential medical, childcare, education,businessand community facilities, as part of a mixed-use development alsocomprisingapproximately 484 homes. * Red & Co-approximately 440 homes through a staged two-tower development, alongside specialty retail and commercial spaces. * Greyburn-a staged residential developmentcomprisingapproximately 402 homes across four medium-rise buildings, together with ground-floor retail.

To make the sites development-ready,Economic Development Queenslandis investing $154 million in critical enabling infrastructurethat will alsobenefitthe surrounding area, with worksalready well underway.

The Crisafulli Government is delivering a place to call home for more Queenslanders and building Queensland's future after a decade of decline under Labor.

Under Labor,Queensland was leftwitha housing crisis, with building approvals slumping and industry confidence undermined while the CFMEU was allowed to run roughshod over major construction projects, causing productivity on job sites tonosedive.

Economic Development Queensland received 18 proposals across the five sites in just eight weeks,demonstratingthe strong appetite from industry to invest in Queenslandand address Labor's Housing Crisis.

The Crisafulli Government has also removedLabor'sred tape following an amendment to the Northshore Hamilton Priority Development (PDA) AreaDevelopment Scheme,leveragingplanning powers to support industry and acceleratenew housing and job-creatingdevelopment.

Constructiononthe first homes is expected tocommencein 2028, once catalyst infrastructure works are completed, with the first residents expected to move infrom2031, subject to planning approvals and other factors.

Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jarrod Bleijie said the Northshore Hamilton transformation was another example of the Crisafulli Governmentbuilding Queensland's future.

"This isthe beginning ofa majorriver-lutionofBrisbane's northside, transformingpreviouslyindustrial land into something specialand a place to call home for thousands of Queenslanders,"DeputyPremier Bleijiesaid.

"Queensland is open for business and through partnership withsome oftheindustry'sfinest andbrightest,we'reunlocking land,building the homes Queenslanders needand deliveringmajor urban renewalaheadof 2032 and beyond.

"Queensland was held back by a decade of Labor's failure to plan for growth, slumping building approvals and a housing crisis that left Queenslanders paying the price.

"The Crisafulli Government is doing things differently.We'reopen for businessandbacking the building industry,andthere'smore to come as we transformboth sides ofthe banks of the brown snake, includingthe redevelopment of the old Visy site at South Brisbane."

Member for Clayfield Tim Nicholls said Northshore Hamilton was already one of Brisbane's most significant riverfront precincts, and this transformation would be a major boost for the local area.

"After years of uncertainty and stalled development under Labor, it is good to see Northshore moving forwardwith new housing, more jobs andcommunity space along the riverfront," Mr Nicholls said.

"The Crisafulli Government is backing investment and unlocking the potential of this part of Brisbane,delivering thousands of new homes while creating a stronger future for our local community."

GRAYA CEO and Co-Founder Rob Gray said securing the site reflected the company's confidence in Brisbane's future.

"Our ambition is to deliver a subtropical, architecturally led precinct on the river, designed for the Queenslandclimateand built to contribute to Northshore for decades to come," Mr Gray said.
