Belconnen, ACT, Oct. 11 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A 35-year-old man has been extradited from Sydney to face sexual assault and aggravated robberycharges.
In April (2025), police responded to reports that a man had been tied up and robbed at a residence in the ACT.
Police allege that the 35-year-old man drugged a 37-year-old man before binding, gagging and sexually assaulting him multiple times.
The 35-year-old man also allegedly stole numerous items from the residence, worth approximately $84,000.
On Friday (10 October 2025), officers from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team, along with NSW Police, arrested the man on an outstanding ACT arrest warrant at his residence in Rockdale (NSW).
The man was extradited to the ACT and is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today, charged with aggravated robbery (in company), forcible confinement, food/drink spiking, and attempted sexual intercourse without consent, sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated sexual assault in the 2nd degree.
