Belconnen, ACT, Sept. 22 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:

A 42-year-old man has been arrested following several alleged acts of indecency on women in Canberra City this month.

About 4pm on Saturday, 13 September (2025), a woman was allegedly indecently assaulted by the man inside a grocery store in the City.

In another incident, about 5:30pm on Monday, 15 September (2025), a woman was walking with her boyfriend along Alinga Street in the City when she was allegedly indecently assaulted by the man.

The man was described by victims as Caucasian in appearance with short hair and aged in his 30s or 40s.

Following an investigation, police attended a residence in Turner and subsequently arrested a 42-year-old man.

He has been charged with two acts of indecency without consent and is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 22 September 2025). The investigation into the man's actions is continuing and further charges may be laid.
