The 86-year-old man missing from Merrimac, Gold Coast today, December 30, has been located safe and well.
Police would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance.
Identifiers within the media release have been removed for privacy reasons.
Earlier: Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 86-year-old man last seen leaving an address at Merrimac, Gold Coast today, December 30.
He was last seen at an address on Highfield Drive but has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has medical conditions and this behaviour is out of character.
Police are appealing to the man, or anyone with information on his whereabout to contact police.
