Earlier: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 13-year-old boy missing from Buderim (Sunshine Coast) since early this morning, January 2.
The boy was last seen leaving a Buderim address and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his young age and the disappearance being considered out of character.
Police are appealing to the boy, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
