Belconnen, ACT, Sept. 12 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing is seeking the public's assistance to locate missing 13-year-old girl Katie Makunde.
Katie has not been seen or heard from since yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 11 September 2025) and was last seen in Fisher.
She is described as African in appearance, with a slim build, braided hair and was wearing an Adidas brand jumper (as seen in the below photo of Katie).
Katie regularly uses public transport and is known to visit the CBD and Braddon areas.
Police and Katie's family hold concerns for her welfare and are requesting the public's assistance to locate her.
Anyone who has seen Katie, or who may have any information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing on 131 444. Please quote reference number P2380996. Information can be provided anonymously.
