* The Coomera Hospital is one step closer with the appointment of a major contractor to deliver the project meaning construction activity will now accelerate, including civil works, retaining walls and permanent stormwater management.
* Works on the multi-storey car park are expected to start next month.

The Crisafulli Government has appointed Multiplex todeliverthe new 600-bed Coomera Hospital, marking a major milestone inprovidingmore hospital capacity for the rapidly growing northern Gold Coast.
It follows major foundation works which are already underway, including concrete pours to support the expanded footprint, adding to retaining andremodellingof existing structures, as well as bulk earth works.
The Crisafulli Government is delivering health services when Queenslanders need them, with several stages of the new Coomera Hospital to be delivered from 2028, starting with the car park through to all 600 beds by 2032.
An independent review of the project found the new hospital had been under-scoped and underfunded by the former Government, with the unbudgeted 400-bed plan failing to meet the future needs of one of the State's fastest-growing communities.
Under the Crisafulli Government'sHospital Rescue Plan, the project was rescoped, with 200additionalhospital beds added, delivering the capacity needed for the Northern Gold Coastwith anew 600-bed hospital.
Multiplex will deliver the major infrastructure project, with civil works, construction of retaining walls, permanent stormwater management tanks and works on the multi-storey car park expected to start from next month.
Major foundation works are already underway, including concrete pours to support the expanded footprint, alongside retaining works, remodelling of existing structures and bulk eart works.
The newCoomeraHospitalis part of the Crisafulli Government's fully-fundedHospital Rescue Plan, delivering more than 2,600additionalbeds, three new hospitals and major expansions at 10 hospitals across Queensland.
On the Gold Coast, 110 newhospitalbeds have already been deliveredat Gold Coast University Hospitalunder the Hospital Rescue Plan,with828additionalfrontline health workersadded since the Crisafulli Government was elected.
More health workers and hospital beds have delivered the lowest quarterly ambulance ramping rates recorded in a decade, with 20.1% at the GoldCoast University Hospital and11.6% atRobina Hospital.
Premier David Crisafulli said the 600-bed Coomera Hospital would deliverhealth services when Queenslanders need them for the rapidly growing northern Gold Coast.
"The northern Gold Coast is one of the fastest-growing parts of Queensland, and we're making sure families have access to health serviceswhen they need them,as their communities continue to grow," PremierCrisafullisaid.
"We're delivering a bigger, better Coomera Hospital, with 200 more beds because Queenslanders deserveeasier access to health services andhealth infrastructure that keeps pace with population growth."
Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Tim Nicholls said the Crisafulli Government was building the beds, growing the workforce and improving patient flow to heal Labor's Health Crisis.
"Labor had a decade to plan for the growth of the northern Gold Coast but left behind an underfunded and under-scoped 400-bed proposal that could never have been delivered as promised," Minister Nicholls said.
"We made the choice to fix the project, add 200 beds,and properly plan and fund the hospital this community needs, and we're now getting on with delivering it."
Member for Coomera Michael Crandon said the community was now seeing real progress on the hospital construction.
"Foundations are underway and major construction activity is ramping up on site, giving families across the Northern Gold Coast confidence their new hospital is moving ahead," Mr Crandon said.
Member for Theodore Mark Boothman said the new hospital would strengthen health services across the northern Gold Coast.
"This 600-bed hospital will mean more care closer to home for local families, while adding much-needed capacity across the Gold Coast health system," Mr Boothman said.
