**This Emergency Alert has been cancelled**
Update:The Emergency Alert for Jandowae has been cancelled.
Residents are thanked for their patience, and can safely return to their properties.
Earlier: An Emergency Alert (Watch and Act) has been issued for the Western Downs Regional Council Area.
Council advises flooding is occurring in Jandowae Creek. Residents in low lying areas should PREPARE NOW.
Warn neighbours, secure belongings and enact your emergency plan.
