CANBERRA, ACT, Feb. 28 -- Australian Federal Police issued the following media release:
An AFP member is expected to appear before the Perth Central Law Courts today (Friday, 28 February, 2025) regarding a charge of dishonestly obtaining a gain.
The man was previously issued a summons to appear today to answer one count of dishonestly obtaining a gain, contrary to section 135.1(5) of the Criminal Code (Cth).
The man has been suspended from duty since September 2024.
The AFP is committed to transparency.
As this matter is before the courts, no further comment will be made.
